On 27–28 September, Natalia Giacomino will present a joint exhibition with Mark Coster at 169 Nunhead Grove, SE15 3LS, as part of the vibrant Nunhead Art Trail.
This exhibition is not simply about artworks on display, it is an exploration of how lines, color, and motion can transcend disciplines and create a dialogue between forms. At its core lies a shared fascination with the way geometry, rhythm, and abstraction inform both art and architecture.
As two abstract artists, Giacomino and Coster invite the audience into a journey where:
- Lines trace movement, capturing both precision and freedom.
- Colors breathe energy, layering intensity with emotion.
- Forms shift and collide, evoking the dynamism of space itself.
The exhibition moves fluidly across painting, sculpture, photography, and pattern, creating intersections where disciplines blur and imagination expands. It is a reflection on how artistic language can echo architectural practice: rhythm becomes structure, color becomes atmosphere, movement becomes experience.
For Giacomino, this dialogue resonates deeply with her architectural vision. Just as buildings are not static objects but living experiences, so too is art, a composition of shifting perspectives, cultural narratives, and the human spirit.
The collaboration with Mark Coster highlights the richness of abstraction as a medium: one that challenges boundaries, embraces experimentation, and celebrates creativity in its purest form.
